This home produced video contains over an hour of instruction. Learn knots, front, hip, and back carries. Learn how to carry twins or multiples. Learn how to breastfeed with your sling. This video has more ties than you will ever use demonstrated by Beate Frome who has many years (decades) of sling tying experience.

This 25-minute documentary shares basic ideas about the philosophy, practicality, and possibilities of in-arms parenting, touching on traditional societies, but mostly focusing on our own present day culture. This is a beautiful book that highlights traditional baby carriers of the Miao and Dong minority people of China. Each baby carrier was carefully designed, sewn, and decorated (either by embroidery and/or beadwork) by a young woman, in hopes of one day carrying her child. The book is in English, Japanese, and Chinese, including poems and essays by the three generations of women in this family that wrote the book.
